Alexander Chatterjee
  • I started my career as an IT Engineer and after some years working for fortune 500 companies, I founded two IT consultancy companies dealing with clients ranging from “mom and pop” operations to multi-million corporations.
    Willing to learn more about Finance and Business Management, I successfully finished my Executive MBA at ESADE in Barcelona in 2017 and wishing to put to practice the newly-acquired knowledge of management, I accepted the senior role of Head of Digital Transformation at Avaloq. I have 15+ years of demonstrated success managing software & product development, internet technology and cyber security.
    I am well organized, result-oriented with proven ability to implement standards, procedures and processes that improve business functionality.
    With solid management skills I am capable of leading and motivating individuals in a multicultural environment to maximize their level of productivity in high stress and international environments. I am looking to work with a company that wants to improve sales and reduce operation costs through the use of innovation.

    Director Data Management Program (IT & Delivery Service) AZQore

    I took over the Data Hub Program that was late, over-budgeted and with no working deliverable.
    In 10 months, we were able with my team to deliver a complete suite of tools and models for our customers. On top of that, we are paving the way to place the Data Hub as a single source of truth for organizations, enabling to have a secure access to Data, transforming it with ease for any business case and applying ML for smart forecasting: it has critical impact on any financial institutions Sales and Operating Expenses figures.

    • Responsible for the Data Hub Build and Delivery program that spans over several projects: Data Lake, Data Hub and Data Dissemination.
    • Lead 16+ FTEs spread on multiple levels.
    • Orchestrated and managed the program’s budget, architecture and operational implementation.
    •Working with AZQore’s S2i, DELL ISILON, Qlik CDC, Cloudera HDP & CDP, SUADEO, Tableau tools.
    • Implementing Agile methodology within different teams
    • Work constantly with the board members of the company (tactic and strategic meetings)
    • Taking into account European banking regulation for TEST and PROD environment (working hand in hand with CISOs)
